Our Client is a Belgian transport company with many years of experience in the industry, owning its own fleet of trucks and technical facilities. Due to the expansion of the team, we are looking for an experienced candidate for the position:
Truck Mechanic (m/f)
Work location: Sint-Truiden, Belgium
Job description:
-Diagnosing and repairing trucks and commercial vehicles
-Carrying out repairs on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
-Repairing and maintaining engines, gearboxes, drive systems, suspensions, and braking systems
-Replacing consumable parts, oils, fluids, and filters
-Carrying out technical inspections and ongoing maintenance of vehicles
-Preparing vehicles for periodic technical inspections
-Independently locating and eliminating faults
-Caring for the technical condition and safety of vehicles
-Collaborating with the team and reporting on completed work
Requirements:
-Several years of professional experience as a truck mechanic, commercial vehicle mechanic, or heavy machinery mechanic
-Ability to independently diagnose and repair faults
-Good knowledge of vehicle mechanics
-Communicative knowledge of English
-Driving license category B – required
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Accuracy, responsibility, and good work organization
-Experience in computer diagnostics, electrical systems, or vehicle hydraulics will be an additional advantage
-Technical education in a relevant field will be an additional advantage
-Willingness to occasionally work on Saturdays

-25–26 EUR net/hour for B2B cooperation
-21–22 EUR net/hour for employment under a Polish employment contract
