Job description
Our client, a small technical company of around 28 people, is looking for three Pipefitters to work on high-quality projects within the yachting and offshore industry.
The work is focused on small piping installations in boats and marine-related machinery. The role mainly involves stainless steel piping, for example, installing a pump and routing piping from point A to point B.
This is a long-term opportunity, with a possible start from July.
Responsibilities
Install small piping systems in boats and marine/machinery environments.
Work mainly with stainless steel piping.
Connect and install components such as pumps.
Measure, prepare, fit and install piping from point A to point B.
Work accurately according to technical drawings or instructions.
Perform precise hands-on fitting and assembly work.
Use hand tools, power tools and common workshop equipment.
Check the quality and accuracy of completed work.
Work closely with a small technical team.
Requirements
Around 2–5 years of relevant hands-on experience as a pipefitter, piping fitter, tubing fitter, fitter-welder or mechanical fitter with piping experience.
Experience with small piping, stainless steel piping or tubing.
Ability to work precisely and independently.
Experience with pumps or small machinery is an advantage.
English is sufficient; Dutch is preferred.
Experience in yachting, boats, shipbuilding or offshore is a plus, but not required.
Candidates based in the Netherlands are preferred, but candidates from other EU countries can also be considered.
Nice to Have
Experience with stainless steel / RVS piping.
Experience with technical drawings or isometric drawings.
TIG welding or fitter-welder experience.
VCA certificate.
Own transport or willingness to travel to Oude-Tonge.
