Restaurant Noa in Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel is looking for two Independent Working Chefs (Zelfstandig Werkend Kok I). In our modern and atmospheric kitchen, you will work with fresh ingredients and a diverse menu. No two days are the same, and together with a close-knit team you will ensure quality and presentation on every plate. Position & Responsibilities
As an Independent Working Chef, you are responsible for independently carrying out kitchen tasks and actively contributing to the quality of our dishes.
Your responsibilities include:
- Independently preparing ingredients (mise en place)
- Applying fundamental cooking techniques
- Contributing ideas and input regarding menu composition, menu updates, and working methods
- Managing inventory and placing orders
- Professionally guiding and supervising kitchen assistants
What you bring as an Independent Working Chef I – Restaurant Noa Nieuwerkerk aan de Ijssel
- MBO level 3 working and thinking level (or equivalent)
- Demonstrable knowledge of basic cooking techniques
- Independent, responsible, and able to perform well under pressure
- A team player with an eye for quality and hygiene
What you bring as an Independent Working Chef I –
- Competitive salary: €2,750 – €3,250 gross per month (depending on experience and skills)
- Pension scheme in accordance with the Dutch hospitality (horeca) collective labor agreement (CAO)
