Taste & Flavors, a modern and versatile restaurant in Groningen, is looking for three Independent Cook I (Zelfstandig Werkend Kok I).
At Taste & Flavors, everything revolves around variety, quality, and experience. From pizzas and sushi to perfectly grilled steaks — no day is the same in our kitchen. You will work with different cuisines and techniques within one concept, together with an energetic and friendly team.
Function & Responsibilities
As an Independent Cook I, you are responsible for independently carrying out kitchen activities and actively contributing to the quality and presentation of our dishes.
Your tasks include:
Independently preparing ingredients (mise-en-place)
Applying basic cooking techniques
Contributing ideas to the composition and adjustment of menus and working methods
Being responsible for stock management and ordering
Providing technical guidance and supervision to kitchen assistants
What do you bring?
MBO level 3 working and thinking level
Demonstrable knowledge of basic cooking techniques
Independent, responsible, and able to perform well under pressure
Team player with an eye for quality and hygiene
What we offer
Competitive salary: €2,700 – €3,250 gross per month (depending on experience and skills)
