Position & Responsibilities
As an Independent Working Chef, you are responsible for independently carrying out kitchen tasks and actively contributing to the quality of our dishes.
Your responsibilities include:
-Independently preparing ingredients (mise en place)
-Applying fundamental cooking techniques, with a focus on noodle and wok dishes
-Contributing ideas and input regarding menu composition, menu updates, and working methods
-Managing inventory and placing orders
-Professionally guiding and supervising kitchen assistants
What do you bring?
-MBO level 3 working and thinking level (or equivalent)
-Demonstrable knowledge of basic cooking techniques (experience with Asian or Chinese cuisine is a plus)
-Independent, responsible, and able to perform well under pressure
-A team player with an eye for quality and hygiene
What we offer
-Competitive salary: €2,650 – €3,250 gross per month (depending on experience and skills)
-Pension scheme in accordance with the Dutch hospitality (horeca) collective labor agreement (CAO)
