Position & Responsibilities As an Independent Working Chef, you are responsible for independently carrying out kitchen tasks and actively contributing to the quality of our dishes. Your responsibilities include: -Independently preparing ingredients (mise en place) -Preparing authentic Chinese noodle dishes and related menu items -Applying fundamental cooking techniques with precision and consistency -Contributing ideas for menu development and kitchen improvements -Managing inventory and placing orders when necessary -Supporting and supervising kitchen assistants in a professional manner What do you bring? -MBO level 3 working and thinking level (or equivalent) -Solid knowledge of basic cooking techniques -Experience or strong affinity with Chinese cuisine is a plus -Independent, responsible, and able to perform well under pressure -A team player with strong attention to quality, hygiene, and detail What we offer -Competitive salary: €2,650 – €3,250 gross per month (depending on experience and skills) -Pension scheme in accordance with the Dutch hospitality (Horeca) collective labor agreement (CAO) -Travel allowance & staff discount -Meals provided during working hours -Training and development opportunities within authentic Chinese cuisine -A friendly, international, and professional working environment -Opportunities to grow into senior or leadership roles within the kitchen Interested or want to know more?
