Guests visit Lotus for its flavorful Chinese and Chinese-Indonesian dishes, extensive menu, takeaway options, and catering services. To strengthen the kitchen team, Chinese Restaurant Lotus is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Independent Working Chef I.
Position & Responsibilities
As an Independent Working Chef I, you are responsible for independently carrying out kitchen activities and actively contributing to the quality of our dishes.
Your responsibilities include:
- Independently preparing ingredients (mise-en-place)
- Applying basic cooking techniques
- Contributing ideas and providing input regarding the composition and adjustment of menus, menu items, and working methods
- Taking responsibility for inventory management and placing orders
- Technically supervising and guiding kitchen assistants/support staff
