Yip & Yang’s Goya Sushi & Grill in Tiel is an all you can eat restaurant where guests can enjoy sushi, grill dishes and a varied selection of Asian dishes. The restaurant is known for its broad menu, welcoming atmosphere and hospitable service. To strengthen the kitchen team, Goya Tiel is looking for an enthusiastic Independent Cook I.
Position & Responsibilities
As an Independent Cook I, you are responsible for independently carrying out kitchen duties and actively contributing to the quality of our dishes.
Your duties include:
Independently preparing ingredients (mise-en-place)
Applying basic cooking techniques
Thinking along and providing input on the composition and adjustment of menus, menu cards and working methods
Taking responsibility for inventory management and orders
Professionally supervising and guiding assistant kitchen staff.

MBO level 3 working and thinking level
Demonstrable knowledge of basic cooking techniques
Independent, responsible and stress-resistant
Team player with an eye for quality and hygiene.

Competitive salary: €2,650 – €3,250 gross per month, depending on skills and background
