The restaurant is known for its hospitable atmosphere, flavorful Vietnamese specialties and high quality. To strengthen the kitchen team, Saigon Caphe Amstelveen is looking for an Independent Cook I.
Role & Responsibilities
As an Independent Cook I, you are responsible for independently carrying out kitchen duties and actively contributing to the quality of our dishes.
Your duties include:
Independently preparing ingredients (mise-en-place)
Applying basic cooking techniques
Providing input on the composition and adjustment of menus, menu cards and working methods
Taking responsibility for stock management and orders
Technically supervising and guiding kitchen assistant(s).
What do you bring as an Independent Cook I?
MBO level 3 working and thinking level
Demonstrable knowledge of basic cooking techniques
Independent, responsible and able to perform well under pressure
Team player with an eye for quality and hygiene.

Competitive salary: €2,650 – €3,250 gross per month (depending on experience and skills)
