MAG 135 FW Welder – Steel / Railway Production – Switzerland, Winterthur
For a renowned rail vehicle manufacturer in Winterthur, Switzerland, we are looking for 6 MAG welders for steel. The job involves producing structural components for the railway industry, including frames, beams, traverses, and bogie components.
This offer is for individuals with real experience in MAG steel welding who can work precisely. We are looking for professionals, not people "to be trained from scratch."

Position: MAG 135 FW Welder / Steel Structure Welder
Number of positions: 6 vacancies
Responsibilities
• Welding steel elements using the MAG 135 method
• Welding fillet welds FW
• Assembling and welding steel structural elements
• Working on components for rail vehicles
• Quality control of completed welds
• Working according to technical drawings and production instructions
• Ensuring precision, repeatability, and quality of welding
Requirements
• Experience in steel welding using the MAG method
• Ability to weld MAG 135, experience/certificates 135 FW are welcome
• Experience with steel, machinery, railway, or similar constructions
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Accuracy and responsibility for weld quality
• Willingness to work in a 2-shift system
• Knowledge of German at a minimum A2 level — understanding and speaking
• Experience as a welder-locksmith is welcome
Work System
Work in 2 shifts:
I shift: 05:00–14:00
II shift: 14:00–22:00
Salary
CHF 36.00–40.00 gross per hour
Additionally, CHF 600.00 gross monthly shift allowance
