The company operates in the wholesale and logistics sector, with a particular focus on healthcare. In a modern distribution center in Wijchen, over 500 employees ensure that medical products reach their destination safely and quickly. The workplace atmosphere is open and friendly, emphasizing personal development. Unlike many other warehouses, we do not work with production targets. Our main goal is quality. Employees are expected to double-check every package of medications to ensure the correct product is selected before packaging. --- What will you do? At DHL Wijchen / Nijmegen, there are three warehouses, including one with cooler temperatures. Each of them has several departments with different responsibilities. These include: 1. Inbound - products are registered in the system and then manually transported on foot to the appropriate storage location. 2. Order picking - think of it as shopping at IKEA. Using a handheld scanner and cart, you navigate through the warehouse, locate the appropriate products, and pick the required quantities. 3. Packing - this is the final stage of quality control, during which all products are checked one last time before packaging. What do we expect? - Intermediate English language skills (min B1) - Ability to focus during work - Attention to detail - Comfort in performing repetitive tasks - Maintaining a clean and safe work environment - Physical endurance to handle heavier boxes - Ability to walk and bend down throughout the day - Willingness to work in cooler temperatures for one of the warehouses - A category B driving license is a plus What can you expect from us? - Salary: €16.20/gross (base rate €15/gross + 8% holiday allowance) - Constant access to planning, payslips, and other documents through the online employee portal, - Assistance in organizing your trip to the Netherlands, - Coordinator support in the Netherlands, - Holland Zorg insurance, - Weekly payments (Tuesday) – transfers to the specified account, - Free transportation to work (from our accommodation) using company cars, - Reimbursement of travel costs for those with their own accommodation.
