Formwork Carpenter

Our client is a modern Belgian construction company that operates mainly in the utility and industrial construction sectors. The company creates many projects in various fields of construction. They also have a finishing department, which focuses on projects including interior finishes, and a PVC and aluminum windows and doors department, focusing mainly on exterior woodwork renovation. Currently, our client is looking for a formwork carpenter to join their team. Responsibilities: - Reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans - Producing and placing formwork according to specifications - Ensuring correct dimensions and quality of formwork - Working with other team members to achieve project goals - Inspecting and maintaining formwork equipment and tools - Working safely in accordance with applicable guidelines and procedures Requirements: - Building/formwork education, previous experience as a formwork carpenter in the construction industry is a plus. - Knowledge of various formwork materials and techniques - Ability to read and understand technical drawings - Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in the construction sector - Flexibility to work in different locations and conditions - Possession of a VCA certificate ( if you do not have a certificate, we will be happy to help you obtain one) - Communicative knowledge of English We offer: - Work in the summer season Monday-Thursday from 7 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Friday 7- 11 a.m. and in the winter season Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. - Join a committed team with an open communication style and an uncompromising mentality - We provide an attractive salary starting at €18.49 gross depending on experience, supplemented by numerous fringe benefits - Exciting and steady work with a lot of variety - Opportunities for training and personal development - A pleasant working atmosphere in a close-knit team - Security of employment in a financially sound company with an excellent reputation - Bonuses: 13th pay, holiday money, mileage, family allowance, health and accident insurance, paid holidays - Accommodation close to the workplace - You start with a temporary employment contract, and after a year you can get a fixed-term contract.
