Our client is a Belgian Automotive Holding, which includes dealership networks for 32 brands of passenger and commercial vehicles. The group has over 530 branches in 7 countries in Western Europe and the Benelux. In addition to selling new vehicles, the companies separated from the Holding also specialize in the repair of accident-damaged vehicles. We are looking for automotive bodyworkers for 3 locations in Belgium: Hasselt, Schriek, and Antwerp. As a versatile "body shop worker," you will ultimately have a wide and varied range of tasks. Initially, you will mainly be responsible for the areas of work where you feel most confident. However, we value your willingness and openness to development. We want to train you! In a modern accident vehicle repair workshop, the position of "body shop worker" is crucial and encompasses a wide range of tasks. From body repairs, equipment reconfiguration, to preparing parts for painting. It's not easy! But that's why we offer such a good hourly rate! We are looking for the best and most ambitious candidates who are passionate about automotive and want to grow! TASKS • Replacing body parts • Reconfiguring body equipment (e.g., when replacing doors) • Repairing minor dents using PDR, spotter, puller • Repairing/touching up plastic parts • Dismantling/assembling some mechanical parts • Conducting inspections of the drive system, suspension, and chassis • Processing dented surfaces before spraying (cleaning, filling, sanding) • Sanding new parts • Masking, vacuuming, and degreasing vehicles • Applying primers If you specialize in any of the above areas and have several years of professional experience, don't hesitate to apply!
