One of the largest commercial workshops in Iceland is now looking to recruit in a number
of positions. We are currently looking for mechanics with experience in the following:
-Underbody (Break/suspension, etc.)
-Motor/gearbox repairs (Trucks/Trailers/Bus/Vans)
-Electrical repairs (Trucks/Trailer/Bus/Vans)
-Body repair
-Car painters
Today the company currently has around 70 mechanics working in their two workshops
within the Reykjavik capital area. Total workshop floor is around 6000m2, fully equipped
with tools. The company is the official dealership of one of the largest European truck
manufacturers and a bus manufacturer.
Opening hours are currently from 08:00 - 18:00 on weekdays. However, for those
interested, the company has much traffic and can in many cases offer extra hours
in the evenings and on weekends (raising the salary)
To make it easy for new arrivals, the company has a few apartments located within the Reykjavik capital area. Here employees can rent rooms at attractive prices compared to the
open market. By this, new arrivals can make quick decisions on joining their team as the
company already has a rooms waiting for those who are interested.
