Company Description:
Our client is a Belgian automotive holding company, encompassing dealership networks for 32 brands of passenger and commercial vehicles. The group has over 530 branches in 7 countries across Western Europe and the Benelux. In addition to selling new vehicles, the companies within the holding also specialize in repairing accident-damaged vehicles.
We are looking for car body repairers to work in three modern workshops in Belgium, located in the cities of Hasselt, Schriek, and Antwerp.
Responsibilities:
- Replacing body parts
- Reconfiguring body equipment (e.g., when replacing doors)
- Repairing minor dents using PDR, spotter, puller methods
- Repairing and retouching plastic parts
- Dismantling/assembling mechanical parts
- Inspecting the drive system, suspension, and chassis
- Processing dented surfaces before painting (cleaning, filling, sanding)
- Sanding new parts
- Masking, vacuuming, and degreasing vehicles
- Applying primers
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in a similar position
- Knowledge of English or Dutch
- Technical education will be an additional advantage
- Independence, accuracy, and punctuality
- Ability to work in a team
- Willingness to learn and keep up with new technologies in accident vehicle repairs
- Attention to quality and details
- Category B driving license
- Willingness to work on Saturdays – preferred but not mandatory
