About you
No experience is required as full training is given You should have good English, be computer literate and a people person.
Job
As a check-in agent In any day you’ll be –
• Greeting passengers arriving at the airport
• Answering any questions passengers might have about their journey or destination
• Checking bookings and issuing boarding passes
• Keeping passengers updated and informing on any changes to flights, times or other information
• Directing passengers to the correct terminal and gate for their flight
• Weighing and checking in baggage
• Being calm and professional when dealing with customer complaints
• General administration duties
• Helping late passengers get to their flights before the departure time or are booked on an alternative flight
• Following security procedures and making sure passengers do also
• Checking boarding passes and passports at the boarding gate to ensure passengers board quickly to keep flights on schedule
This is an exciting job with no two days the same, working across multiple airlines you’ll meet customers of all types, deal with different issues and certainly be kept busy.

After two weeks paid training, you’ll be working shifts for 38 hours per week with the possibility of overtime. Work begins at the end of March and continues until October, we have lots of other roles at Schiphol if you’d like to transfer to another role when this finishes.
