As an Independent Working Chef I, you are responsible for:
-Independently preparing ingredients and mise en place
-Applying fundamental cooking techniques within a high-quality and dynamic kitchen
-Contributing ideas to menu development and kitchen working methods
-Ensuring consistent quality, hygiene (HACCP), and efficiency
-Preparing and presenting dishes according to the culinary standards of Ashoka Amsterdam
Collaboration & Development
-You work independently within your assigned section
-You collaborate closely with experienced and supportive chefs within the kitchen team, with a strong focus on learning and development
-Based on performance and potential, there are opportunities for career growth within the company
What do you bring as an Independent Working Chef I at Ashoka Amsterdam?
-Education level: EQF Level 3 – vocational education
(Dutch MBO level 3 or an equivalent professional qualification)
-Demonstrable knowledge of basic cooking techniques
-Experience in a high-volume professional kitchen is a plus

-Salary ranging from €2,650 to €3,050 gross per month, in accordance with the Dutch Hospitality (Horeca) Collective Labor Agreement (CAO), depending on knowledge and experience
