**Position & Responsibilities**
As an Independent Cook I, you will be responsible for independently carrying out kitchen activities and actively contributing to the quality of our dishes.
Your responsibilities include:
* Independently preparing ingredients (mise-en-place)
* Applying basic cooking techniques
* Contributing ideas and input regarding menu composition, menu changes, and working methods
* Managing inventory and placing orders
* Supervising and guiding kitchen assistants on a technical level
**What do you bring as an Independent Cook I at Restaurant Lotus in Landgraaf**
* MBO level 3 working and thinking level or equivalent
* Demonstrable knowledge of basic cooking techniques
* Independent, responsible, and stress-resistant attitude
* Team player with attention to quality and hygiene
