# Independent Cook I – Wereldrestaurant Goud Stadskanaal
Wereldrestaurant Goud in Stadskanaal is known for its extensive international cuisine, live cooking concept, and welcoming atmosphere. To strengthen our kitchen team, Wereldrestaurant Goud is looking for an Independent Cook I.
## Position & Responsibilities
As an Independent Cook I, you are responsible for independently carrying out kitchen activities and actively contributing to the quality of our dishes.
Your duties include:
* Independently preparing ingredients (mise-en-place)
* Applying basic cooking techniques
* Contributing ideas and input regarding menu composition, menu adjustments, and working methods
* Taking responsibility for inventory management and ordering supplies
* Providing technical guidance and support to kitchen assistants
## What do you bring as an Independent Cook I
* MBO Level 3 working and thinking level
* Demonstrable knowledge of basic cooking techniques
* Independent, responsible, and able to perform well under pressure
* Team player with an eye for quality and hygiene
