Peking Garden Baarlo is a well-established Chinese restaurant known for its authentic Asian cuisine, fresh ingredients, and welcoming atmosphere. Guests return for its extensive menu, traditional flavors, and consistently high-quality dishes. To strengthen our kitchen team, we are looking for 2 Independent Cook I.
Job Responsibilities
As an Independent Cook I, you will be responsible for independently carrying out kitchen duties and actively contributing to the quality of our dishes.
Your responsibilities include:
Independently preparing ingredients (mise en place)
Applying fundamental cooking techniques
Contributing ideas for the composition and improvement of menus, menu items, and working methods
Managing stock and placing orders
Providing technical guidance and supervision to kitchen assistants.
What do you bring as an Independent Cook I?
MBO Level 3 working and thinking level or equivalent
Demonstrable knowledge of fundamental cooking techniques
Independent, responsible, and able to perform well under pressure
A team player with an eye for quality and hygiene.

Competitive salary: €2,650 – €3,250 gross per month (depending on skills and qualifications)
