An Fong Best BV is a Chinese-Indonesian restaurant located at Nieuwstraat 68 in Best and has been a well-known name in the region for more than 45 years. The restaurant is situated in the centre of Best and mainly welcomes guests from the surrounding area. An Fong is known for its traditional interior and familiar Chinese-Indonesian menu, offering classic dishes prepared with care. To strengthen the kitchen team, An Fong Best is looking for 2 Independent Working Cooks I.
Function & Responsibilities
As an Independent Working Cook I, you are responsible for independently carrying out kitchen activities and actively contributing to the quality of our dishes.
Your responsibilities include:
Independently preparing ingredients (mise-en-place)
Applying basic cooking techniques
Contributing ideas and input regarding the composition and adjustment of menus, menu cards and working methods
Taking responsibility for inventory management and ordering
Providing professional guidance and supervision to kitchen assistants.

MBO level 3 working and thinking capacity
Demonstrable knowledge of basic cooking techniques

Competitive salary: €2,650 – €3,250 gross per month (depending on experience and skills)
