The restaurant combines characteristic Chinese flavours with a lively location in the heart of Amsterdam. To strengthen the kitchen team, China Sichuan is looking for 2 Independent Working Cooks I.
Function & Responsibilities
As an Independent Working Cook I, you are responsible for independently carrying out kitchen activities and actively contributing to the quality of our dishes.
Your responsibilities include:
Independently preparing ingredients (mise-en-place)
Applying basic cooking techniques
Contributing ideas and input regarding the composition and adaptation of menus, menu cards and working methods
Taking responsibility for stock management and orders
Providing professional guidance and support to kitchen assistants
What do you bring as an Independent Working Cook I?
MBO level 3 working and thinking level
Demonstrable knowledge of basic cooking techniques
Independent, responsible and stress-resistant
Team player with an eye for quality and hygiene

Competitive salary: €2,650 – €3,250 gross per month, depending on experience and skills
