Guests can enjoy their meals in the restaurant or order them for takeaway. To strengthen the kitchen team, De Chinese Muur is looking for 2 Independent Working Cooks I.
Function & Responsibilities
As an Independent Working Cook I, you are responsible for independently carrying out kitchen activities and actively contributing to the quality of our dishes.
Your responsibilities include:
Independently preparing ingredients (mise-en-place)
Applying basic cooking techniques
Contributing ideas and input regarding the composition and adaptation of menus, menu cards and working methods
Taking responsibility for stock management and orders
Providing professional guidance and support to kitchen assistants.

MBO level 3 working and thinking level
Demonstrable knowledge of basic cooking techniques
Independent, responsible and stress-resistant
Team player with an eye for quality and hygiene.
What do we offer from De Chinese Muur?
Competitive salary: €2,650 – €3,250 gross per month (depending on skills and qualifications)
