Chinatown Dim Sum in Rotterdam is a Chinese restaurant where dim sum and other dishes from Chinese cuisine take centre stage. Guests can enjoy a varied selection of dishes in a welcoming atmosphere. To strengthen the kitchen team, Chinatown Dim Sum is looking for 4 Independent Cooks I.
Position & Responsibilities
As an Independent Cook I, you are responsible for independently carrying out kitchen activities and actively contributing to the quality of our dishes.
Your responsibilities include:
Independently preparing ingredients (mise-en-place)
Applying fundamental cooking techniques
Contributing ideas and providing input on the composition and adjustment of menus, menu items and working methods
Taking responsibility for inventory management and placing orders
Providing technical guidance and supervising kitchen assistant(s).
What do you bring as an Independent Cook I?
MBO Level 3 working and thinking level or equivalent
Demonstrable knowledge of fundamental cooking techniques
Independent, responsible and able to perform well under pressure
Team player with an eye for quality and hygiene.

Competitive salary: €2,650 – €3,250 gross per month (depending on skills)
