This is an initial position, where after a few weeks we will look at other employment opportunities at Schiphol Airport. You must be open to doing other work at Schiphol (logistics). You start in our warehouse, where you will gain experience in air freight, with the aim of eventually offering you another job.

What are your activities as a warehouseman?
As an air cargo warehouse agent, you are responsible for managing and coordinating the movement of goods and materials transported by air. This may include receiving, storing and preparing cargo for shipment, as well as handling customs clearance and documentation.
The specific duties of an air cargo warehouse agent can vary depending on the company and the type of cargo being handled. However, some common tasks include:
• Checking for damage, checking the content against the manifest and updating the inventory records.
• Organizing and storing cargo in appropriate locations, ensuring it is properly secured and monitoring cargo condition.
• Loading cargo onto pallets, wrapping and securing cargo, and preparing shipping documents such as air waybills and export declarations.
• Use of forklifts and other equipment to move cargo within the warehouse.
In short, as an airport cargo warehouse agent you are responsible for managing and coordinating the movement of goods and materials transported by air. This may include receiving, storing and preparing cargo for shipment, as well as handling customs clearance and documentation.
What are the job requirements?
• Good knowledge of the English language (English is spoken throughout the application process, as well as at the workplace and during training)
• Warehouse and/or forklift experience or connection
• You are resistant to stress, results-oriented and flexible
• You have no problems with physical (heavy) work (you will work with air transport!)
• You have lived in Europe for at least 8 years and have no criminal record due to airport checks
• You can follow the training sessions in English
