Job Description:
What does a day look like for someone involved in order picking or packing? Your task is to prepare orders for shipment. As an order picker, you do this by packing the right products into boxes. These products come to you via a conveyor belt. Using a handheld scanner, you scan the picking list and pack the appropriate products from the warehouse into the box. As a packer, you are responsible for preparing the shipment for dispatch; you pack the box and affix the shipping label. Then you place the box back on the conveyor belt and move on to the next one!
As a logistics assistant in the goods receiving department, you will work in the areas where all medical products arrive. After a team meeting, your workday begins, and you will handle tasks such as sorting incoming goods, registering them in the system, and moving them to the appropriate location in the warehouse.
Requirements:
- Good command of English, both spoken and written;
- Proficient in using computers and/or handheld scanners and the ability to quickly learn new systems;
- Availability for full-time hours and willingness to work overtime if needed;
- Own transportation to reach the workplace or the ability to bike up to 18km one way with an electric bike;
- Ability to provide a certificate of no criminal record (VOG);
