As an Assembly Worker, you will assemble high-quality mechanical and electronic components, modules and complete systems using prepared assembly kits, technical drawings and work instructions. You will work with hand tools, drills, electric screwdrivers and specialised equipment. You will also check finished products for quality and functionality, identify and report any deviations, suggest possible process improvements and cooperate closely with the production, logistics and quality-control teams. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 💶 SALARY AND WORKING HOURS 💰 Hourly wage: €16.98 gross, including ADV allowance 💶 Monthly salary: approximately €2,943 gross based on full-time employment 🗓️ Working days: Monday to Friday ☀️ Day shift: 07:00–15:45 ⏰ Employment: full-time You will also receive: 8% holiday pay, work clothing and safety shoes, a thorough induction programme and practical training. You will have opportunities to develop your technical skills, progress within VDL and potentially receive a permanent position with VDL MPC. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 👷 WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? We are looking for reliable and motivated candidates with a good command of English or Dutch who can understand work and safety instructions. You should be available for full-time employment, physically fit and able to work accurately and carefully. Attention to quality and detail, technical understanding, good practical skills and confidence using basic tools are important. You must also be able to follow instructions correctly and apply for a Dutch Certificate of Conduct (VOG). Experience in assembly, production, mechanical fitting, automotive work or engineering is an advantage, but it is not required. The position is also suitable for candidates who are interested in working as mechanical assemblers or technical production workers and are motivated to learn. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 📋 RECRUITMENT PROCEDURE 1️⃣ Send us your CV. 2️⃣ We forward your CV to the client for assessment. 3️⃣ You receive an invitation with the interview date and time or feedback regarding your application. 4️⃣ You attend an interview with the client and receive a tour of the production facility. 5️⃣ The client completes the final assessment. Candidates with little or no technical experience may also complete a practical skills test. The client may assess whether you can work safely and correctly with basic tools, such as a drill or electric screwdriver. ✅ Following a positive assessment, you may start working within two to three days. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🏠 ACCOMMODATION Maximum €147 per week, usually in a double room. 🩺 HEALTH INSURANCE €38.02 per week 🚲 TRANSPORT A bicycle or car is provided for commuting between the accommodation and the workplace.
