Responsibilities
operation and programming of CNC lathes (from time to time work on cnc milling machines)
work on the basis of technical drawings
configuration of machines and modification of programs in order to optimize production
working on day shift (8:00-16:30)

Required competences
technical education
several years of experience as a CNC turner + programming skills
knowledge of Mazak programming system
experience in machining different types of metals such as stainless steel, steel, aluminum,
 bronze as well as plastics
very good knowledge of English or French
ability to read technical drawings
accuracy, reliability, independence
driving license cat. B - welcome

REMUNERATION: 19,20€ - 25,62€ gross/hour.

- rate of 19,20€ - 21,35€ gross/hour (depending on experience)

- salary paid on a weekly basis; shift I and II 580€-640€ net/week. shift III 650€-720€net/week.

- shift bonus: +6% 1st and 2nd shift 20,35€ - 22,63€ gross/hour; +20% 3rd shift 23,04€ - 25,62€ gross/hour.

- holiday allowance - on the scale of the year worked will be about 5900€-6570€ gross (15.38% of gross annual earnings).

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Ensuring the continuous operation of 14 weaving machines by quickly resolving technical problems and machine failures according to a color-code system that distinguishes between those that require the intervention of the chief technician (orange codes) and those that can be handled by weavers (green codes)

- implementing any necessary adjustments or new settings according to the plans or instructions provided. This is primarily computer control, but mechanical knowledge will sometimes be required. e.g., recognizing improper patterns

- direct contact with weavers and support them in operating the machines

- performing regular maintenance to prevent downtime and optimize productivity

- assisting the R&D manager in organizing the setup of weaving machines and weaving samples

- conducting weaving analyses and contributing to quality improvements

- working in two shifts (1st shift 6:00 am - 2:00 pm and 2nd shift 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm) or a permanent night shift (10:00 pm - 6:00 am)

COMPETENCIES SOUGHT

- experience as a weaving machine technician or technician in the textile industry (at automatic as well as mechanical weaving machine)

- communicative knowledge of English

- Physical work on the move (walking between machines)

- ability to diagnose and solve mechanical problems in weaving machines

- knowledge of operation and adjustment of weaving machines

- Ability to understand and interpret weaving patterns and yarn types

- Communication skills and ability to cooperate in teams of 2-3 people

- Cat B driving license and car welcome
